Feel Up podcasts are back and this time we welcome Mark Russell to the family…
Musically Mark is a self confessed ‘soul boy’ at heart and during his years as a DJ he held residencies at Club UK, Mars, Gods Kitchen, Sonic Mook, Babooshka, More Tea Vicar, The End and The Bridge & Tunnel playing alongside the likes of Danny Rampling, Bobby & Steve, CJ Mackintosh, Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson, Norman Jay, Bob Jones and Eric Morillo…
Though first to admit he’s a true house head, Mark’s productions encompassed a range of musical styles. Recording with Domu as Realside he released tracks on LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking off-shoot – Cookin’ Records where the vibe was hip hop, downtempo and deep house.
Mark digs deep in his extensive vinyl crates to record this soul boy mix for Feel Up.
